Flora · Orman Garden
The trees were here first
A botanical garden laid out in 1875, and 554 species of plant counted across the two gardens.

The lotus
The flower of the Nile
Two lotuses grow in Orman Garden: the blue lotus, the flower the ancient Egyptians carved on their temples, and the sacred lotus.
From the sacred lotus and the blue lotus of the Nile to the jacaranda, every plant in the two gardens has been counted. Orman Garden is more than a botanical collection: it keeps a herbarium and a working nursery, and distils organic fragrant oils from its own plants.
